Life in Venom Valley…
Josh Stanton’s mother, Maureen, vanished one night long ago, when Josh was very young. Taken in by the town’s spinster school teacher, Agnes Pritchett, Josh finds himself something of an outcast in the town of Belkin’s Pass. Rumors that his mother was a witch keep him on the outskirts of the town’s social groups, and strange reactions around the deceased, both within him and to the body, make him feel even more exiled. When Josh is befriended by Dexter Wells, the two become best friends who want more from the relationship, but are conditioned by their upbringing to hide their attraction. Years later, when a dangerous stranger begins stalking the girls of the One-Eyed Rooster, the local saloon, Glory, a half white, half Native American saloon girl, joins Josh and Dex in their fight against the man they come to know as Balthazar, a powerful vampire. Can Josh’s hidden power finally be a positive?
